Our annual Career Day at King Abdullah Academy was our largest event yet.
The day began with a keynote address from Mussab Ali, Director of Vote16USA, who shared an inspiring message about the impact young people can have on their schools, their communities, and the world. He encouraged our students to be civically engaged, to be proud of their cultural heritage, and to speak truth with confidence. Much of the day was dedicated to a series of intimate workshops and seminars facilitated by alumni, parents, members of the greater community, and even current students. We were joined by 44 professionals from fields as diverse as architecture, medicine, law enforcement, publishing, law, filmmaking, and game design. We concluded the day with a panel discussion from alumni who shared their reflections on life at KAA and their recommendations for college and career success.
