This weekend, our High School Science Fair winners competed at the Fairfax County Regional Science and Engineering Fair, earning incredible achievements!
On Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, KAA students attended the "Color of Justice" Program at the Fairfax County Courthouse. This engaging four-hour session provided a unique educational experience for the students.
KAA students recently had an exhilarating and successful experience at the Model UN Conference held in New York City. The three-day event was one of the largest of its kind, featuring a diverse array of participants from around the globe, with a notable presence from Italy.
Senior Essam Jazzar was selected by King Abdullah Academy to receive a 2025 Student Peace Award of Fairfax County. He was one of 28 recipients honored at a reception on March 2.
Last Saturday, Middle Years Programme students in Grades 6-10 at King Abdullah Academy, along with their parents, participated in a meaningful MLK Day of Service event.
The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia put on a mock murder trial in front of about 23 KAA high school and middle school students, as well as about 100 other students from all over Fairfax County. The purpose of this mock trial was to generate enthusiasm and interest in students who might be interested in pursuing a career in law.
McLean, Virginia. January 5, 2025 — Zaina Naffa has just won the American Legion Post 270 Oratorical Contest in McLean. She defeated four other high school students in this, her second year competing in this competition. This is the first year a student from the King Abdullah Academy has won 1st Place!
